IVOMEC 1% Injection effectively deworms and combats parasites, earning farmers’ trust for over 35 years. Ivermectin, the active ingredient, is an antiparasitic injectable. IVOMEC boosts profitability by controlling harmful parasites that can suppress appetite, reduce feed intake, and weaken the animal’s immune system if left untreated.

COMPOSITION: Ivermectin 1% m/v.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Use only as directed. Administer subcutaneously.
• Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg body mass.
• Pigs: 1 ml per 33 kg body mass.
• Sheep: 0.5 ml per 25 kg body mass.
• Ostriches: 1 ml per 50 kg body mass.

Do not administer intramuscularly or intravenously. Use a 2.0 cm 16-gauge needle. Ensure sterile equipment and follow aseptic procedures. Do not dilute or mix with other substances.

WARNINGS:

• Do not slaughter cattle and sheep for human consumption within 21 days of the last treatment.
• Do not slaughter pigs and ostriches for human consumption within 28 days of the last treatment.
• Do not use in lactating cattle or sheep if their milk or milk products are intended for human consumption.
• Do not use in dairy cattle within 28 days before calving if their milk and milk products are intended for human consumption.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals.
• Although extensively tested, failure may occur due to various reasons. If suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Do not reuse empty bottles.
• Avoid smoking and eating while handling the product.
• Wash hands thoroughly after use.
• Vaccinate cattle against clostridium infections (e.g., black quarter).
• Vaccinate sheep against pulpy kidney (enterotoxaemia) before treatment.
• Store the bottle in its carton to protect from light.
