The stainless-steel compression spring keeps the fence wire taut. While the ratchet tensioner allows additional tension to be applied when required. Built with a hardy glass-filled nylon spindle and a nylon plastic inner. The unit helps eliminate galvanic reaction between dissimilar metals, reducing rust and extending the lifespan of the fence wire.
This medium tension spring suits a range of electric fence wires and is commonly used with the DATS2 system. Its robust construction ensures reliable performance in demanding outdoor conditions.
