Frontline Plus – Dog
Monthly topical application for dogs for the treatment and prevention of ticks and fleas. Frontline can be used on puppies from 8 weeks of age.
Features:
Frontline Plus combines fipronil, the active ingredient used in all other Frontline products, with (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator. This combination forms Integrated Flea Control (IFC), which sets Frontline Plus apart. IFC describes the way these active ingredients work together to disrupt the flea life cycle.
Within 24 hours, Frontline Plus spreads across your pet’s body through translocation. The sebaceous (oil) glands beneath the skin act as a reservoir, slowly and continuously releasing the product onto the skin surface where fleas and ticks come into contact with it.
Fipronil attacks the nerve cells of fleas, causing disorientation and hyperactivity before killing them. (S)-methoprene disrupts egg production and hatching, and it prevents larvae from developing. As a result, no pupae form, and the flea life cycle is effectively broken.
With regular monthly treatments, your pet stays flea-free, tick-free, and comfortable. The active ingredients distribute quickly through your dog’s coat.
