Description
Bostik Hot Melt Adhesive Thermogrip AS724 is a premium quality hotmelt adhesive that has been designed for packaging applications requiring fast bonding in combination with superior hot tack properties and excellent final bond strengths with high heat resistance. The product is able to bond different liner surfaces in the carton erecting manufacturing process.
APPLICATIONS
Bostik Hot Melt Adhesive Thermogrip AS724 is suitable for carton and box closing and making applications, tray forming, bag making and general packaging applications where high heat resistance is required.
ADHESION
Kraft paper, baywhite, various corrugate boards, printed board, etc.
LIMITATIONS
- Not suitable for adhesion to varnished or heavily coated surfaces e.g. wax coated.
- Not suitable for extremely low (deep freeze) applications.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Bostik Thermogrip AS 724 is non-toxic as supplied in granule state. Glue granules are slippery if spilt, so care should be taken when cleaning spillages that occur in the workplace. Molten Bostik Thermogrip AS 724 presents a burn risk. It is advisable to wear safety glasses, gloves, and long sleeved/long legged clothing. In the event of a burn, cool affected area with copious amounts of water, and seek medical attention if required.
