Description
Valbantel is a broad-spectrum oral anthelmintic sheep and goats, with residual protection against re-infestation of wireworm and hookworm.
Dosage form : Supsension
Dosage and directions for use : Use only as directed and shake well before use. Administer orally at 2 ml of Valbantel per 10 kg body mass.
Composition : Albendazole 1.9 %Â m/v; Closantel sodium 3 %Â m/v
Indications : Roundworm, lungworm, milk tapeworm, liver fluke and nasal worm remedy for sheep and goats with residual protection against re-infestation of wireworm and hookworm. Ovicidal: Prevents roundworm eggs present in the animal at dosing from hatching.
Warnings :

- Allow 30 days between last dosing and slaughter for human consumption.

- Do not use in milk goats if you intend to use their milk for human consumption.

- Handle with care.

- Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.

- Management practices should always ensure that all drenching procedures are carefully carried out.

- It is particularly important not to exceed the recommended dosage in ewes during mating or during the first month of pregnancy.

- Prevent contamination of food, food utensils, etc.

- Wash hands thoroughly after use.

- Do not repeat treatments more frequently than every 3 weeks.

- Before dosing with any worm remedy, we recommend that you vaccinate all animals against pulpy kidney disease .

- Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration.
