Epsom salt is a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulphate. Can be used as a healing agent to relief pain, swelling, sun burn relief or as an anti-inflammatory. It may be used in animal feed where there is a shortage of magnesium, and is also increases magnesium or sulphur content in soil. Most commonly applied to potted plants, or to magnesium-hungry crops such as potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, lemons, and roses etc.
