Refund & Exchange Policy
Overview
- Cancellation of an order, exchanges, and refunds –
- An order cannot be cancelled once the “Place an Order” button has been clicked and payment is processed.
- Additional handling fee’s may be applicable to some items, please enquire about any surcharges before cancelling an order or returning any items.
- OBARO will refund customers or exchange products provided that:
- The Product is damaged or defective, and the damage is not a result of Customer negligence; and/or
- the received Product is incorrect, and it does not match the order confirmation; and
- There is a valid proof of purchase; and
- It is returned within 30 days of purchase; and
- It is in its original packaging or condition.
- Refunds or exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase, by contacting [email protected]or 012 381 2639;
- OBARO will only refund a Customer in cash if the product is defective or if OBARO has delivered the wrong product, but in any other event OBARO will only grant a credit or exchange the product with another product.
- The product purchased must be inspected upon delivery of the product for any damages or defects. The undersigning of the delivery note by the Customer will constitute acceptance by the Customer that the product is free from any damage or defects.
- Products are to be returned to OBARO Online (C/o Graham and Silverlakes Road, Hazeldean, Pretoria East, 0081) at the customers own expense;
- Returned Products will be processed within 5 business days after it is received by OBARO Online;
- Faulty products will be repaired, replaced or refunded subject to supplier warranties, provided that:
- The product was used in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms of use and there is no evidence of structural damage or abuse
- The original components and accessories are also returned.
- OBARO shall not be liable to the customer or any third party, for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature, in the event that a cancellation request is submitted.

- Pricing –
2.1 OBARO will take all reasonable steps to ensure that prices reflected on the Website are accurate.Customer/s will be charged the prices reflected on the Website.
2.2 Prices are quoted in South African Rand and include Value-Added Tax (VAT).
2.3 Special promotions may be limited to separate offer conditions and stipulations.
2.4 Prices on the Website are online only prices and may differ from prices in OBARO Retail stores.
- Stock Availability –
- Stocks of all Product/s on offer are limited. OBARO will take all reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued on the Website, OBARO cannot, however, guarantee the availability of stock.
- When Product/s are no longer available after an order has been placed and payment has been processed, OBARO will notify the Customer via email, whereafter the Customer will be entitled to a refund of any amount already paid for such Product/s.
- OBARO reserves the right to limit the quantities of any Product/s that is offered. All descriptions of Product/s or Product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice to the Customer, at OBARO’s sole discretion. OBARO reserves the right to discontinue any Product/s at any time, without further notice.
- Product/s cannot be reserved to be bought at a later stage, and by placing an item to cart without completing the order, does not constitute a “sale”. This means that OBARO may remove any Product/s from a Customer’s cart before the sale takes place, in the event of the Product/s going out of stock. OBARO cannot be held responsible if the Product/s added to a Customer’s cart have become unavailable whilst the Customer/s are in the process of completing the sale.
- Collection of purchase –
4.1 Product/s purchased must be collected at OBARO stores, or alternatively be courierd with a reputable courier company?
4.2 Product/s can take anything between 2 and 15 business days to reach an OBARO store for collection.
4.3 Although OBARO makes every effort to ensure that the information supplied on the Website is accurate, delays and out of stock situations may occur.
4.4 OBARO reserves the right to refuse to accept or process payment on any order and may cancel any order if it reasonably suspects that fraud is being perpetrated on a Customer’s account, without accepting liability which may arise as a result of its refusal to process any order.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to: C/o Graham &, Silverlakes Rd, Silver Lakes Golf Estate, 0081.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
