Description
The NLDC-25 dual battery isolator and charger serves as a DC-to-DC battery charger and isolator for a dual-battery system. Initially, it charges an auxiliary or service battery from a vehicle alternator or Solar panel, delivering up to 25A output current. Not only does it support traditional 12V and 24V vehicle alternators, but it also accommodates variable voltage alternators. Additionally, its integrated MPPT solar regulator provides a maximum output power of 375W and is capable of supporting solar panels with higher power. Furthermore, it can connect to solar panel voltages up to 42V.
In terms of features, the NLDC-25 boasts a 6-stage charge algorithm that is suitable for any Lead-Acid battery type and automotive Lithium-Ion batteries. Moreover, its 3 safety stages analyze the battery and have the ability to detect batteries that are damaged and unable to accept charge. To optimize the output voltage, it employs temperature compensation, thereby ensuring safe and full battery charging under various conditions.
As for user interaction, the NLDC-25 allows the connection of a remote monitor. This monitor displays system and battery level information to the user on a high-contrast LCD screen. Lastly, it’s worth noting that the NLDC-25 has an IP67 rating for harsh environments and offers protection against reverse-polarity, over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-current conditions.
